Nasal Hemostatic Dressings is presented as two different products, which are covered with hemostatic gauze, as an alternative way to the traditional methods:
- Nasal Dressing Balloon, comprised of PVC balloon and hemostatic gauze
- Nasal dressing, comprised of PVA and hemostatic gauze
It provides rapid and effective stop bleeding through hemostatic gauze which covers it. Hemostatic gauze quickly turns into a viscous gel when it contacts with blood or liquids and viscous gel fills wound holes, seals end of capillary vessels, and activates the clotting system thereby helping to stop the bleeding. This gel form avoids trauma on soft tissue during removal of the tampon. Thanks to this, troubles in wound healing process are eliminated. AHM Hemostatic Dressings can be put directly to bleeding area. It fills wound holes, seals end of capillary vessels, and activates the clotting system.
Nasal Dressing Balloon
Our product is in two parts.The inner part of Nasal Dressing Balloon consists of PVC Balloon. The outer part of Nasal Dressing Balloon consists of hemostatic cellulose which is regenerated by various methods. PVC Balloon is inflated by a syringe with max 20 ml air for 45 mm, max 25 ml air for 55 mm, and max 30 ml air for 75 mm. PVC Balloon fills the void homogeneously during blowing out and ensure perfect tamponade. Hemostatic gauze turns into a viscous gel on contact with blood or exudates. This gel form activates the clotting system and hastens hemostasis.
