Hemostatic Powder

• When hemostatic powder is applied pressure directly to actively bleeding wound, hemostatic powder particles serve as a moleculer filter which haul the liquid in blood.
• Hemostatic powder has to be applied by pressing for 5 minutes into the wound.
• Coagulation begins immediately in 30-60 seconds.
• Hemostatic powder turns into a gel which serves a scaffolding for the formation of a tenacious fibrin clot within just seconds of application. Therefore, clotting process accelerates. This occuring clot is extremely adherent.
• Clot in the bleeding site is accelerated safely and effectively with zero risk of infection.
• Does not have any negative effect on the healing process.
• AHM Hemostatic Products have bacteriostatic feature against Streptococcus Penumoniae, Escherichia Coli, Bacillus Subtilis, Pneumococcus, Pseudomonas Aeruginosa, Staphylococcus Aureus in the experimental tests performed in the laboratory.

AHM Hemostatic Bandage was used to stop bleeding on 1 cm x 4 cm laceration after trauma. Wound healing took place without the risk of cicatrisation.
